Algebra II Chapter 9 (and 8) Review.pdf | SOLUTIONS | Graph Paper
(The solutions are in Word format, but if for some reason that doesn't work for you, here are the solutions in PDF format.)
As you can tell... it's lengthy... and it covers the ENTIRE six weeks, so please don't put this off until the night before the test!
We are making some changes to the syllabus for Chapter 10, starting with the first section.
The following is the updated assignment for Wednesday/Thursday, March 26/27 (due the 28/31):
Also of note:

Assignments for each section will be updated appropriately.
Chapter 9 (rational functions) is one of the more difficult in the course, and just in case you lose them, here are the notes for the entire chapter (same notes handed out in class):
The last major test of the 5th six weeks is coming up in just one week! Here's the study guide for the exam:

As I mentioned in class, unless you want homework over Spring Break (blegh), you will want to finish 9-1 and 9-2 before you leave for the break. Here are the notes for 9-1, attached with the worksheet that contains the problems for section 9-1 (if you do this, you can ignore the bookwork assigned on the syllabus).
(ideally, you want to finish this BEFORE you come to class on Thursday/Friday... otherwise it's more than likely you'll have homework over Spring Break)
We will go over the notes for section 9-2 on Thursday/Friday, our last meeting before Spring Break, and you should be able to finish 9-2 in class that day.
Again: Finish 9-1 and 9-2 before you leave for Spring Break, otherwise it's homework over the break!
We will go over the notes for section 9-2 on Thursday/Friday, our last meeting before Spring Break, and you should be able to finish 9-2 in class that day.
Again: Finish 9-1 and 9-2 before you leave for Spring Break, otherwise it's homework over the break!
As we head towards Spring Break, here are the worksheets for sections 9-1 and 9-3:
- 09_01_practice_a+b.pdf (solutions are on page 3)
- 09_03_transformations_wksht.pdf (solutions are on pages 3-5)
With the English Language Arts TAKS this Wednesday (March 5), the schedule for the remainder of the six weeks (and likely, the rest of the semester) is being bumped so that B-days will come first, followed by A-days. Here are the updated homework schedules for both classes:
