Here is the handout that explains how to do the homework for section 2-7.  This assignment is due on Thursday/Friday, Oct. 2/3 (yes, that is AFTER the chapter 2 test).

This assignment requires a TI-83/84 calculator, and explores how to do scatter plots and linear regressions on the graphing calculators.  The following handout explains step-by-step how to perform these on the calculator:

Section 2-7, Page 146, #6, 7, 15, 16, 24

*for 6, 7, and 15, you do NOT need to draw any graphs on paper - just find the equation of the best fit line, and the correlation coefficient.  When rounding decimals, use 3 decimal places.
