3 problems (more simulations!) and a short reading assignment:
- p. 267, #13 (5 trials), #24 (5 trials), #33 (3 trials)
For each problem, explain/describe how you would conduct each simulation. Then conduct the specified number of trials. For all 3 problems, copy random digits starting at line #8 on page A-77 of your textbook. - READ: Pgs. 270-272 (all the way to the bottom of 272), and 276-279 in Chapter 12.
Please note that I will NOT be available for tutorials on Monday morning (Aug 29).
FIRST OF ALL: Make sure you have a textbook from the textbook office! Also, if you do not own a graphing calculator, you should check one out from the textbook office.
- Read/skim through chapter 11. It will help.
