This is HW #12 due Wednesday, Sept 29 (Test Day)

Listed below are six major concepts.  To receive full credit, you must pick at least 4 of them, and complete one problem from each concept that you choose (the practice problems do NOT count – those are for you to refer to in the BOB for reference).  If you feel that you need the review, then you should do problems from 5 (or even all 6) of the listed concepts!
Work must be in complete sentences and in context.  Do what you need to prepare for your test!!!
Again: “Practice” problems are optional (no credit for those)!!!  Do at least 4 of the 6 for full credit.

AP Stat – HW #11 (due Monday, 9/27)

Since we took our quiz today, the assignment over the weekend is just these three problems.  We will start chapter 5 in class on Monday~

  • Ch 3, p.39, #24 abcdg* (the graph on part “g” is optional)
  • Ch 4, p.65, #18,37* (refer to p. 57 for an example of a timeplot)

AP Stat – HW #10 (due Thursday, 9/23)

To note, we are about 1 block behind the schedule set on the syllabus.  Our quiz will be on Thursday (9/23), and the test will be on on Wednesday (9/29).

The HW assignment due on Thursday:
  • p. 65, #5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 36 (use graph paper for any graphs, and make sure your responses are in context)
  • Ogive Worksheet #2, 1ab, 2ab (download here)
  • p. 317, #36 (“Gas Mileage”)
Since you are not told what type of experimental design to use, carefully consider the question that the experiment will attempt to answer and what type of design is best. Spend time re-reading the problem and putting yourself into the situation before you start writing.
