Algebra II (Regular) Chapter 10 Review

The Chapter 10 Exam (Conic Sections) is still a few weeks away (~April 23/24), but is one of the most difficult of the course.  To help prepare for this test, we are posting the review a bit earlier than normal:

Algebra II Chapter 10 Review (pdf) | Review Solutions (pdf)

The main links are in Word format, but the pdf links are available as well (the graphs seem to print out a little nicer in Word, but if you have trouble getting the .doc to work right, try the PDFs).

Algebra II (Regular) 5th Six Weeks Exam Review

Our 5th six weeks exam is coming up next week; here are the review and the solutions:

Algebra II Chapter 9 (and 8) Review.pdf | SOLUTIONS | Graph Paper

(The solutions are in Word format, but if for some reason that doesn’t work for you, here are the solutions in PDF format.)

As you can tell… it’s lengthy… and it covers the ENTIRE six weeks, so please don’t put this off until the night before the test!

Algebra II (Regular) Chapter 9 Notes

Chapter 9 (rational functions) is one of the more difficult in the course, and just in case you lose them, here are the notes for the entire chapter (same notes handed out in class):

Algebra II (Regular) 9-1 Notes and Worksheet

As I mentioned in class, unless you want homework over Spring Break (blegh), you will want to finish 9-1 and 9-2 before you leave for the break.  Here are the notes for 9-1, attached with the worksheet that contains the problems for section 9-1 (if you do this, you can ignore the bookwork assigned on the syllabus).

(ideally, you want to finish this BEFORE you come to class on Thursday/Friday… otherwise it’s more than likely you’ll have homework over Spring Break)

We will go over the notes for section 9-2 on Thursday/Friday, our last meeting before Spring Break, and you should be able to finish 9-2 in class that day.

Again: Finish 9-1 and 9-2 before you leave for Spring Break, otherwise it’s homework over the break!
